Warranty
All our products come with a 12 months Manufacture warranty
The warranty is subject to proper care for and reasonable use of the bikes.
Bulbs, brake pads, inner tubes, tyres, chain, cables, etc – are regarded as consumables - When replacements are required these can be purchased from your local cycle shop or get in contact with us to source them for you.
Please note that warranty is not transferable to another person by default - please contact us to confirm with our suppliers if this can be undertaken on a case by case basis. All warranty exclusions and terms are on the manufactures website directly.
Some of our the manufactures will require you to post the bike to their repair centre postage is not covered in the warranty.
If you have any warranty claims you can go through us or the manufacture directly. Please include Product Serial Number(Normally under deck or on the e-scooter/e-bike stem) and defect video/images are required for quick warranty service.
Limited Warranty does not cover the following:
- External bolts that are prone to daily wear and tear.
- Negligence and use of the scooter in wet conditions, or where moisture has been allowed to sit on the product resulting in rust/corrosion.
- Consumables (such as fuses, brake pads, brake callipers, brake disc, tyres, inner-tubes, brake cables, bearings etc)
- Parts with physical damage, incomplete/broken cable connections.
- Accidental Damage which is not the fault of Pineapple Electric.
- Damage associated with professional and hire use.
- Defects or damages caused from accidents, improper use and storage, abnormal conditions, or loading over the manufacturers weight limit.
- Damage caused by improper assembly or maintenance, this includes damage caused by a third party or unauthorised service partner.
- Damage caused by installing parts or accessories that were not intended for or compatible with the product.
- Damage caused by failure to maintain or service at appropriate intervals.
Please note that any modification to the product will void the warranty.
The warranty will also be void if you are not the original owner as the warranty is non transferable.
Warranty covers you solely against manufacturing faults.
Most electric products are not 100% waterproof and therefore should never be ridden in conditions beyond the IP rating specified in the product description warranty does not cover water damage. Please check product descriptions for full details or contact us if you have any questions.
